Lesson Two

Welcome to Lesson Two!

For this lesson, we will discuss how exactly we calculate someone's personality based off of the letters in their name. This will be a rather math-heavy lesson, but don't worry, if you passed first grade, you should be just fine ;)

Explanation:

To start off, you will need to convert each letter of your name into a number using this system that I will write out to make it easy to read and will also include a picture below the write out. Below you will see a number with a few letters following it. The letters following each number are the letters assigned to that number. Here we go:

1 - A J S

2 - B K T

3 - C L U

4 - D M V

5 - E N W

6 - F O X

7 - G P Y

8 - H Q Z

9 - I R

Notice how the letters read across from A to I and then start back at 1 and go to 9 as J - R then go back to 1 and start at S until they run out of letters at 8 when they hit Z.

Here is a helpful picture to help better visualize that:

This method is called the Agrippan Method and it's based off of the Latin alphabet. Why is it called that? Well, like with most things, it's named after the founder or in this case, creator Cornelius Agrippa who is believed to have invented this system.

Method:

How exactly do we use this method? It's rather simple. For demonstration purposes, I will use my name as an example: Iverian Gnash

To begin, I will convert each of those letters into a number using the chart like this:

9459915 75118

After I've converted the letters to numbers using the Agrippan Method, I will add them up. Once all of these numbers are added up I get 64. We will continue to reduce this number until we get 9 or below. To do that, I will add those numbers together for which I get 10. Then I add 1 and 0 together to get 1. My final number is 1.

Now, you might be thinking, this is all great and all but what does it mean? That's what we're going to discuss now. What we just did, adding up all the numbers in the full name, is how we find the Character Number. This number can be used to find out a person's personality. If we were to add up only the vowels in a person's name and reduce it to a single digit we would get the Heart Number which can be used to find out the inner fears and desires of a person. The last thing we can find is called the Social number. This number can be found by adding up all the consonants in a person's name and reducing it to one digit. The Social Number is our outer personality, what we like everyone else to see. So, what do the different numbers mean? Below I've outlined each number and what they mean.

Meaning:

These are called your vibrational numbers and each one has its own definition.

1 - This is the individuals' number. Ones are focused, driven, and independent and when they set a goal, they stick to it. These people are leaders and inventors. They often find it hard to work with other people and don't want to take orders from anyone. They can be egotistical, self-centered, and domineering. They like being by themselves.

2 - 2's are able to get along with others. 2 represents communication with others, cooperative behavior, a good sense of balance, and interaction. They have big imaginations, are creative, and are good-natured. Everything that relates to cooperation like peace, loyalty, and fairness are characteristics of 2's. However, they also represent conflict, and two-sided things, and opposing forces like good and evil. They can be moody, very self-conscious, unable to make decisions, and withdrawn individuals.

3 - These kinds of people represent completeness and wholeness as in mind-body-spirit. They are talented, energetics, and are artistic in nature. 3's are known for their humor, but they can also be unfocused, offended easily, and superficial.

4 - 4's represent stability and firmness and enjoy hard work. They are reliable and practical and prefer logic and reason. They are very organized and are able to get things done quickly. However, they are also very predictable and can be stubborn, suspicious, and are quick to anger.

5 - 5's represent instability and imbalance dealing with uncertainty and change. They are drawn to many things but won't commit to any. They are very adventurous, are willing to take risks, and have a lot of energy. They like to travel and meet new people but won't stay in one place for long. They can be irresponsible, temperamental, lacking patience, and conceited.

6 - 6's represent friendship, family, and peace. They are loyal, loving and reliable people and can adapt to situations rather easily. They are able to succeed in teaching and the arts but lack talent when it comes to business. They often gossip and are prone to complacency.

7 - 7's are understanding, intelligent, and perceptive individuals. They are workers and welcome challenges. They are very serious, scholarly, and interested in everything mysterious. Originality and being imaginative are more important to them than material things and money. However, they can be insecure, pessimistic, and sarcastic individuals.

8 - 8's often experience success in business, finance, and politics. They are very ambitious, are hard-workers, and are practical and committed individuals. They are very unpredictable and have the potential to fail or be incredibly successful, but no one can anticipate which one. They can be jealous of others, greedy, power-hungry, and domineering people.

9 - 9's represent completion and achievement to the highest degree and is the complete number (3) multiplied 3 times. They dedicate themselves to service and usually take positions as teachers, scientists, and humanitarians. They are determined, work tirelessly, and are an inspiration to others. However, they have a tendency to be arrogant and conceited when things don't go as they planned.

Using this method, you are able to find out quite a bit about yourself and others. Now, onto the assignment!
